Artist and Crafter
Martha Barrón
Martha (aka Nana Martha) is a life-long artist and crafter. She has illustrated two books including the children's book My Best Friend is a Giraffe by Dr. Heidi Lee Pottinger, as well as the motivational gift book Good Things for a Young Woman's Spirit.

Artist
Sebastian Barrón
Sebastian is an analog and 2D artist. He is a student at the University of Arizona School of Art and will be graduating in May 2025. His work is reflective of his fascination with history, fashion, pop culture, and his own personal heritage. He embraces and explores the various facets of pageantry, antiquity and belonging within this often black and white world.

Alicia E. Barrón
Alicia is an internal communications writer with the Arizona State University Knowledge Enterprise. Like her mother, Alicia is a life-long crafter and enjoys creating art with all types of mediums. Having been a journalist for over 20 years, she also has a passion for creative writing and photography. Alicia thrives when covering special events.

Crafter
Ana Fernanda Barrón-Thwaits
Ana Fernanda has a background in Disability and Psychoeducational Studies and is a Special Education teacher at Sunrise Drive Elementary School in Tucson, AZ (named Catalina Foothills School District Distinguished Educator in 2025!). She is also a creative spirit and crafter who specializes in custom holiday wreaths.

Writer, Artist and Digital Content Creator
Isabella Barrón
Isabella is a storyteller blending the art of words and visuals to create captivating narratives. She holds a degree in Journalism and has experience in reporting, writing, and multimedia, including capturing moments behind the lens and crafting compelling digital content. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Bilingual Journalism at the University of Arizona where she hopes to bridge cultures and languages in order to amplify diverse voices and shed light on untold narratives. Like the rest of her family, Isabella is also an artist and a crafter who enjoys, crocheting, painting, jewelry-making, and felting.

Chiquis Barrón
Chiquis has worked in research with the University of Arizona in the fields of Psychology, Psychiatry, Gender/Women's Studies, and Infectious Diseases. Her work in academia is closely tied to and inspires the themes in her creative and social justice works.
